Rules of Conduct

The Carraque Widows Forum Pages are intended to be a friendly place to discuss topics of interest to widows-of-color in an open and civil fashion. To facilitate this exchange of ideas and information, please respect the following rules. Any member who fails to do so can be banned. If you are banned, you can contact the moderator about possibly having the ban lifted. In addition, please be advised that other people have admin privileges besides the moderator.

1) No *excessive* use of foul language. We understand that in times of great stress, sometimes only *selective" words get to the heart of your meaning, but there is almost always another way to say it. But if not, try using something like "#*@!!" instead.

2) No advertising of products or services.

3) No troublemaking or harassment of other visitors i.e. "trolling."

4) No off-topic posts.

5) No spamming.

You are expected to respect all members of Carraque Widows, their comments, views and opinions. There may be some topics or posts that may offend someone, inadvertently or a post that may not be agreed on by all. In this situation, be sure to handle respectfully and tactfully. Carraque Widows will not tolerate any post or material that attacks another member, is intended to be offensive, abusive or come off in a threatening manner. These behaviors are strictly prohibited. The focus and purpose of this site is to present a platform that provides a place for unbiased support, suggestions and ideas on proceeding with the rebirth of life.

CW has administrators and moderators whose purpose is to maintain the veracity and purpose, which is supporting widows of color.

If you have any questions about these rules feel free to contact the moderator. Carraque Widows is here to be a constructive outlet and provide help in times of great loss, let's keep it that way. Thank you.

Privacy and Confidentiality

To ensure your privacy, it is recommended that you never post any personal identifying information that you do want to be public.

Your registration information will be kept private and will not be sold or distributed to anyone.

Using any data to perform research or identify members is strictly prohibited.

Consequences of Violations of Policies

If you are found in violation of any of the rules and policies, you posts will be deleted and you will be prohibited from participating in CW.

How To's

How to post a comment

1. Find the post you want to add a comment to.

2. At the bottom of the post see the line of text that looks like this:

3. Click on the text "add comment"

4. A "pop-up" widow will open where you can enter your comment. See below.

5. Type your comment in the textbox (A) .

6. Type the characters you see in the "word verification picture" (B) (this helps cut- down on spam).

7. Choose an idenity. (C)

8. Click the "PREVIEW" button to review your comment before posting. (D)

9. Click the "PUBLISH YOUR COMMENT" button to post your comment. (E)

How to see what others have said

1. Find the post you want to view the comments for.

2. At the bottom of the post see the line of text that looks like this:

3. Click on the text "show all comments"

4. The widow will open to show all comments for this post.

And that's it!.
